Raju
Raju was 14 and alone at Salem station. He escaped from a factory with terrible working conditions. He was exhausted and couldn’t get home. Railway Children reunited him with his family.
Transforming five stations
The £481,448 raised at last year’s Ball is enough to transform five of India’s dangerous stations into safe places. This enables us to protect thousands of vulnerable children, offering somewhere to sleep, therapy and re-homing.
