– Hand Jive dance contest

– Basketball shootouts

– Sing-alongs with Greasers, nerds, and cheerleaders

– Themed diner delights and refreshing drinks

– A mind-blowing musical and dance extravaganza

– And many more surprises!

Why Attend?

This year’s Railway Ball is not just about fun; it’s a chance to reconnect with friends and colleagues, dance to the greatest hits of the 1950s, and most importantly, support a cause that truly matters. Every ticket sold helps Railway Children guide vulnerable young people towards brighter futures.

Patrons’ Call to Action

Railway Ball Patrons, including prominent industry leaders, are calling on UK rail companies to help achieve an ambitious £500,000 fundraising target for Railway Children. With over 1,000 guests already confirmed, the event is on the brink of success but still needs crucial support.

In an open letter, Patrons from across the rail sector—including Darren Caplan (Railway Industry Association), Lisa Coleman (Worldline), Andrew Haines (Network Rail), Peter, Lord Hendy of Richmond Hill (Minister of State, Department for Transport), Alex Hynes (Department for Transport), Andy Lord (Transport for London), and Dyan Perry OBE—urge industry colleagues to support this year’s event. Their letter highlights the transformative impact of Railway Children, which has improved the lives of over 250,000 children facing abuse and poverty, including over 14,000 in the past year alone. Read the full open letter here.
